Want to Become a Les Mills Instructor ? Follow the Steps Outlined Below.

Contact your facility manager or owner letting them know you want to teach Les Mills or contact us to learn more. You can also let us know what facilities in your area you'd like to see bring Les Mills on so you can teach. We'll try and work with the facility decision makers to see the benefits and become authorized.

Identify the next available training in the program your interested in teaching. Initial training dates are published in our Training Calendar. Instructors must be sponsored by a facility customer to attend training.

Your facility manager can register you online to go to the training they can contact us to help you.

Sign your instructor agreement online before attending the training. Print your confirmation email and bring it with you to the training – and then you will not be required to complete an onsite hardcopy.

The training is 2 or 3 days depending on the program.

You are required to submit a video/DVD for assessment within 3 months of training, in order to become a qualified LES MILLS™ instructor. Post training, you are able to teach at an authorized facility (grade permitting) and can sign up on Autoship to receive the new releases each quarter.

Trainees become qualified when a video submitted by them has been assessed and passed by Les Mills’ certification staff. Instructors receive ongoing training and education updates through regional quarterly workshops, DVD's and choreography notes once qualified. Here's how it works:
