More than 65% of those who consider joining a fitness program are seeking to improve their health. As a result, today’s health conscious consumer is looking to develop and adopt a more active and subsequently happier lifestyle. Often they do not have the knowledge or support to initiate a change nor the encouragement to sustain it. That’s why partnerships between LES MILLS™ and the YMCA’s have been so successful. Together, we provide Health Seekers with viable fitness and wellness options while reinforcing their efforts with a community of education and ongoing support.

Body20Flow.jpg is the Yoga, Tai Chi, Pilates exercise program  that builds flexibility and strength and leaves you feeling centered and calm. Controlled breathing, concentration and a carefully structured series of stretches, moves and poses to music create a holistic workout that brings the body into a state of harmony and balance. Options also allow participants to choose how hard they work.

Body20Vive.jpg is the low-impact group fitness exercise programthat lets you choose just how hard you work. e-conditioned, aging, or rehabilitating exercisers will especially enjoy BODYVIVE as it provides a gentle yet effective blend of cardio health, strength, and flexibility training. Subsequently, BODYVIVE is a perfect option for introducing new users to the benefits of group fitness training. 

Body20Pump.jpg is the original barbell class that strengthens your entire body. This 60-minute exercise program features a balance of endurance and functional strength training by using the best weight-room exercises like squats, presses, lifts and curls. By emphasizing on a low-weight, high repetition workout, the risk of injury is significantly reduce while participants strengthen their entire body. 

A unique feature of the Les Mills system is the training, development, and continuing education offered to both those who participate in and to those who teach our programs.  What makes this feature so significant is that our class choreography, module trainings, and supplemental materials work in concert to arm participants and instructors with the knowledge to empower them to achieve consist results. This means that we provide your center with the resources necessary to allow you to build tangible bridges between your LES MILLS™ programs and the goals Health Seekers are looking to achieve. Resources are available for all 8 Les Mills class formats.

One example of the many resources available is pictured to the right. BODYVIVE “Smart Cards” are one of our newest tools to advance the training of instructors and enhance the how they coach and encourage class participants. There are 22 BODYVIVE “Smart Cards” available addressing topics such as DiabetesLower Back Pain, Joint Replacement, and Fall Prevention.  This is just one example of how the LES MILLS™ group fitness management system allows you to create and manage clear expectations for staff and membership.
